A very cute 3rd floor 1 bedroom available to rent beginning in August! Just two blocks from the College.
Everything about this room is perfect for a single student who... wants a safe, comfortable place to concentrate on their work/studies.
The room is fully furnished with a full-sized bed, dresser, small desk, and a small refrigerator. There's a 32" smart TV on the wall, the room comes with bedding, pillows and allergen covers. There is a private bathroom; complete with a new set of towels. All you need is your toothbrush! Large walk-in closet plenty of room for storing personal items.
The room is on the 3rd floor of a meticulously clean family home in the historic College Terrace neighborhood; only two blocks from Zable Stadium. We are a friendly, fun loving, retired couple in their '50s with no children living at home. Just a very cute energetic cat. There is no extra storage space available, everything must fit in your room. The room does not have a private entrance, and we ask that you take your shoes off upon entering the house.
We are Fans of Fauci; we prefer to have a fully vaccinated and boosted tenant.
A successful renter will be quiet, respectful and clean.
You will be responsible for keeping your room clean (I will provide cleaning supplies). You will have full access to the kitchen and will be expected to clean up after yourself. Cleanliness is non-negotiable. Leave like you find it. No smoking of any type anywhere on the property (that includes burning candles). We can't allow any overnight guests.
The monthly rent is $1,000.00 all-in, due on the first day of each month. Payable by bank-to-bank transfer (ACH). You will be required to pay for full rent each month even if you are not staying for the full month. This includes all school breaks. We ask for a $500.00 security deposit which will be returned to you after you leave in accordance with Virginia's landlord-tenant statutes. When you vacate the room we must be notified at least 2 weeks in advance and the room must be cleaned and left they way it was when you moved in.
