I do like living here. I am concerned at the height of rent increases each year. The rate increases in the laundry rooms are also hard on my budget. As a graduate student this is one of the only places in Williamsburg that I can even remotely afford. I plan to renew my lease for a third year but it is only because I am receiving some financial assistance from family that I can manage.

There are a lot of things to like about Conway but there are also plenty of bad things. The buildings are very old having been built in 1969. There is very little insulation and you can clearly hear everything from your neighbors. The plumbing is also questionable with backups and gurgles coming up in the sinks. The buildings have nothing to shade the direct sunlight which makes the apartments dreadfully hot.
Every tiny thing that you do is monitored by the management and 1 wrong move results in a phone call reminding you to "behave".
The one shining spot are the maintenance crew. These guys work very hard and are always willing to help, aid or fix anything, even after hours. They are all super friendly. I think that management could take a lesson here.
They are very conveniently located and are very spacious. They are also the only affordable apartments in the area.

Great Stay Experience. The team at leasing office is very helpful and firendly. Only thing is swimming pool is open to use during summer (May to August), I think it can definitely be extended.
