Quiet 2 Bed 1.5 Bath House In Walkable Neighborhood
A quiet, lovingly maintained older home in an amazing neighborhood just 3 miles from campus and next to Kidsburg. This cozy home has been lived in and cared for by the owner for the last twelve years and would be prefect for a professional, couple,... or small family.
The house is 1,300 square feet and has refinished hardwood floors throughout. There are two bedrooms upstairs with comodious closets and a room downstairs with a small closet as well. There is a large climate-controlled space over the garage that is perfect for an office, playroom, home theater, etc. The living room has a well-maintained (annual serve included) wood-burning fireplace too. The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, gas range and a butcher block island. The full bath upstairs has a combination shower and tub that was recently fresher with new grout and faucets. Additionally, most of the outlets and switches throughout the house have been recently upgraded. There is a garage which will fit a small vehicle or home gym, studio, shop etc. but is not conditioned. The garage is where the washer and dryer hookups are located too.
The recently renovated screened-in porch is wired for outdoors speakers and now includes a ceiling fan which is perfect for hanging out in the warmer months. The porch leads to the dual-level deck which is great for cookouts and hosting guests and the bistro lights provide additional ambiance. The completed fenced-in back yard has a new garden shed and recently installed hardscaping. The owner will assist with winterization, pruning, gutters, and larger projects but the renters are asked to assist with basic yard maintenance and tools will be provided.
The house is wired for fiber internet and the HVAC system is relatively new and top of the line so heating and cooling bills are marginal. The historic utilities costs can be shared by the owner to offer a complete picture of the expenses. The monthly rent includes up to two pets at no additional cost and also includes trash and recycling service and HVAC filters. The owner has a network of quality tradespeople who know the house well and the owner will work diligently with the renter to ensure any repairs, replacements, or service are properly done and completely in a timely manner.
A 12-month contract is preferred but the owner can be flexible. Proof of employment/income and a copy of renters insurance will be required.
